Digimon. Digital Monsters. Digimon are the champions. If your read that in tune then congratulations, you’re awesome and we are now friends. If you didn’t, then you must be a newcomer to the Digital World. Which makes me a little sad, but we can still be friends. Anyway, welcome to the Digital World, a place jam packed with wondrous creatures who possess the ability to transform into even more wondrous creatures at will. It’s kinda the coolest. But such a world is not without its problems. Though, they may not be the ones you’d expect… Peace. The ultimate goal of good guys everywhere. If you stand for justice, you stand for peace, you fight for peace, you sacrifice for peace. So, what happens when you actually get peace? I mean, the battle is over, the adventure is done, what’s left? These are all questions that the Digimon now find themselves plagued with. Digimon All-Star Rumble – New Trailer and Screenshots Straight From NYCC

Bandai Namco games have done the ‘Digimon’ fandom a real solid and released a brand-new trailer alongside some seriously exciting screenshots of their upcoming fighting game title ‘Digimon All-Star Rumble’ ahead of this weekend’s New York Comic Con where we’ll be seeing much more from the much0loved video game developer/publisher. The trailer, much like the initial one that was released, takes audiences through a couple battles between ‘Digimon’ series favourites like Veemon, Gomamon and Gatomon. It shows ‘Digivolutions’ and special techniques that can be pulled off in-game. It’s the new screenshots, though, that are the more exciting of the new information because they introduce the world to the ‘Digimon All-Star Rumble’ story mode. This gameplay mode, featured in many if not all fighting games, will serve is the single player experience wherein which you’ll choose your favorite digital partner to take on a whole bunch of different enemies before going head-to-head with a ‘Digimon Rival’ which will signify the end of a level. Digimon All-Star Rumble – Bandai Namco Reveals ‘Digicard’ System

We’re here, people. Tokyo Game Show is happening as we speak and from the expo comes a whole bunch of news about some awesome upcoming Japanese video game titles, one of which just so happens to be my most anticipated; ‘Digimon All-Star Rumble’. The game, which was announced by Bandai Namco about a month or so ago, pits Digimon against Digimon in much the same style as the PlayStation 2 ‘Digimon’ fighting game ‘Digimon Rumble Arena’. Featuring characters from the original season all the way up until the latest season, this game is the first from the ‘Digimon’ franchise in quite a while that WILL be getting a Western release. Bandai Namco Games today, at the Tokyo Game Show, released a whole new batch of screenshots and character models from the game that not only show us more of what it has to offer but also introduces us to the ‘Digicard’ system which is a gameplay mechanic that allows players to add special bonuses and upgrades to their digital partner. “Digimon All-Star Rumble” – Gameplay Videos From Bandai Namco Event

Bandai Namco dropped a bomb over the weekend, one that has ‘Digimon’ fans the world over locked in a state of great anticipation and semi-disbelief. A brand-new fighting game was announced, titled ‘Digimon All-Star Rumble’ for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but what makes this announcement as exciting as it is would probably have to be the fact that it is heading to the West within the next couple of months. ‘Digimon’ fans have been longing for a video game from the long-running series as of late and only now where we thrown a bone. That doesn’t matter though, I’m just happy we got something at all. After the morning of the anouncement, Bandai Namco games held a small event where players could try out new and upcoming games, one of which just so happened to be ‘Digimon All-Star Battle’. “Digimon All-Star Rumble” Announced For The West

This is absolutely amazing! For so long now ‘Digimon’ fans have been begging video game publishing companies like Namco Bandai to bring some sort of ‘Digimon’ game over to the West and finally they’ve answered our call with the announcement of a brand-new ‘Digital Monsters’ video game title that will actually be made available in both North America and Europe! Yosha! The newly-announced brawler title is called ‘Digimon All-Star Rumble’ and is somewhat reminiscent of the PlayStation classic ‘Digimon Rumble Arena’ a game I bought, loved and sorely miss to this day. The fighting game will feature a 4-player battle system that’ll have you and three of your best ‘Digi-Pals’ going head-to-head-to-head-to-head in the first ever “Digimon Evolution Tournament”. The game’s story is quite simple but seeing as it IS a fighting title I don’t think it necessarily has to have a story: The ‘Digital World’ is finally at peace. ‘Digimon’ are living in harmony and the forces of evil are nowhere to be seen, though…the ‘Digimon’ still long to take the next step in …
