Blood Blockade Battlefront Returns For Season Two In 2017

Blood Blockade Battlefront was the sleeper hit Anime of 2015 that, despite not garnering a mainstream level of popularity, is a series much loved by most Anime fans across the globe. Strange, right? Well it’s no Attack On Titan, nor is it One-Punch Man, but for those “in the know” it was one of the hottest Anime titles of the year. Based on a Manga by Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow, B3, as it was shortened to, centred around a supernatural defence agency located in the remains of New York after a devastating catastrophe of God-like proportions. Diverting from the source material, B3 featured an original ending that seemed to me as though it was pretty final, but it has just been unofficially revealed that a second season is planned for a 2017 release under the altered name “Blood Blockade Battlefront and Beyond“. This is unofficial because the magazine this will appear in has yet to be released, but an early edition of the so far unnamed publication has been acquired and pictures of it have …

Blood Blockade Battlefront – Review

The world can be a scary place. Nothing new there, nothing wrong there either. For one person to find their way in a society of others trying to find their way, it is an inherently shared and unique experience. Oxymoronic, but true. Of course, that isn’t taking into account external factors, such as if the world were to be suddenly and intrinsically linked to another dimension chock full of beings beyond human imagination…well, not really, because a human did imagine them, but you know what I mean. Add on top of that the simple fact that every dimension and species holds its own heroes and villains and you’ve got yourself a recipe for chaos in a cookbook of insanity. But then, you have to ask yourself, is that the kind of book you would willingly read? New York City, a bustling mecca of countless people who have gathered from across the globe…is gone. The whole thing exploded into another dimension or somesuch. Sad…and also catastrophic. However, in its place now stands Hellsalem’s Lot, the one …

Pokemon meets Blood Blockade Battlefront in epic fan mash-up video

Fans of Pokemon and fans of Blood Blockade Battlefront at first seem to be a different breed but to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise, fans of both series have come together to create the ultimate mash-up of the two: a Pokemon version of Blood Blockade Battlefront’s famous ending theme song. The fan made video places many characters from the Pokemon series in place of the Blood Blockade Battlefront characters in the popular Unison Square Garden theme video. The song by Unison Square Garden is of course ‘Sugar Song to Bitter Step’, however in this video we see an 8 bit version of the tune employed to fit in with the style of Pokemon. It’s a great watch whether you’re a fan of Pokemon or not. So kick back, check it out below and enjoy yourself. -30-

The Blood Blockade Battlefront Anime Is Finally Coming To An End

Hey, do you guys and girls remember that Anime Blood Blockade Battlefront? The adaptation of Yasuhiro Nightow’s hit Manga series? Yeah, yeah, it had the young guy with the glowing eyes, and the sock monkey. You know which Anime I’m talking about, and I’m sure you know that it’s final episode has been on delay for quite a while now. Everyone was incredibly excited to see the end of Blood Blockade Battlefront and, considering just how damn good an Anime it is, it’s very much justified…then the depression set in, after hearing that the final episode would be put on delay indefinitely. We waited, and waited, and waited some more, but the episode never came. The Blood Blockade Battlefront production staff ensured us that it will be long worth the wait, with a double-length episode and a finale to blow our heads off…but it felt like an eternity away. Some of us came to believe that we’d never bare witness to the final episode of this masterpiece of an Anime. Some even thought it was …

Hello, world!…eventually – Blood Blockade Battlefront Finale Delayed Again

As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, it would appear that we will all have to wait at least a bit longer until the conclusion of Blood Blockade Battlefront (B3) presents itself. I mean, we already knew that there would be a delay, but this is a new, extra level of delay…so enjoy. Apparently unable to fit into its 30 minute time slot, episode 12 of this hectic series has fallen into the relegation of “until further notice”. So, though no definitive information regarding the episodes eventual release is known, it’s still worth preparing yourself for the lack of conclusion this week. In the meantime, a special B3 program is scheduled to run in place of the finale. Now, for the sake of fairness, I shall now play out both sides of the inevitable argument that will encircle this announcement. It goes a little something like this: Negative (aka The Loudest Commenter): What?! This sucks. Obviously they knew how long the episode was and they didn’t plan for this? That’s …

‘Blood Blockade Battlefront’ Finale Delayed, Recap To Air Instead, Sound Echoing Around World is Collective Groan

Bit of bad news in for Blood Blockade Battlefront fans. The finale of the wildly popular anime series has been delayed until July 4th for reasons currently unknown. Yes groan away B3 fans, it is your given right afterall. But do not fret because Tokyo MX and its affiliate channels have got something that will satisfy your hunger for more blood breed battles – a recap episode. Alright now before you get your pitchforks out, it must be said that although the delay has pushed the finale back until July 4th, it doesn’t seem to explain the conflicting schedule of an episode of Durarara x2 which is also locked in for the same timeslot. Wait that isn’t a pleasing tidbit that will calm down the irate fandom. Well, I guess fans should just deal with it B3 style by going buck wild and a little bit nuts. In related news original creator and author of Blood Blockade Battlefront, Yasuhiro Nightow, has yet to comment on the situation because no one has bothered asking him yet. …

The Fog Has Lifted – Blood Blockade Battlefront Broadcast Dub Cast Announced

First things first, I am officially excited. Like, a lot. In case you’ve been living under a rock in a cave on Mars, Blood Blockade Battlefront is a new series from this current anime season that is, in my opinion, one of the best anime to come out in a while. It’s not even close to finished yet and I feel that way, so take from that what you will. But enough of my personal opinions, let’s get down to the facts. As they do, FUNimation has revealed that a Broadcast Dub will shortly grace the airwaves for this particular series, amidst their other endeavours. Thus, a cast list has been revealed detailing just who will bring these characters to life in English. First Thoughts: “Blood Blockade Battlefront” – Get That Monkey!

Where the hell do I start with this Anime? You know, reader, I’ve been thinking about this article for a while now but I can’t seem to figure out just what it is that I should write about when it comes to the new Anime adaptation of Yasuhiro Nightow’s Blood Blockade Battlefront which, incase you have no information on this series at all, is also known as B3. Now as soon as you read Yasuhiro Nightow you probably think Trigun. For you to do so wouldn’t be unjustified but for your own sake and for the sake of this new series…I’d toss that thought out the bloody window. This is not Trigun. This is…look, I don’t even know what this is. It’s just…it’s just…it’s…just…magnificent…Blood Blockade Battlefront is, without a doubt in my mind, simply magnificent. Let’s talk about the story for just a little bit: Johnny Landis…I mean, Leonardo Watch is a young man who’s just moved to the city formerly known as New York. A few years back, this huge portal to another world opened up …

An Anime Adaptation Of “Blood Blockade Battlefront” Is On The way

Reader, have you heard of a Manga/Anime series called ‘Trigun’? Surely you have! It’s the story of a young gunfighter with a mysterious past created by the Mangaka genius Yasuhiro Nightow. I can’t imagine any Anime fan not knowing what ‘Trigun’ is or who Yasuhiro Nightow is but for those of you who don’t: He’s a legend of the industry and ‘Trigun’ is a series that will go down in history as being one of the greatest examples of old-school Anime/Manga brilliance. Did you know, perhaps, that Mr. Nightow has a more recent Manga series that is currently being released around the world? It’s a little series that goes by the name ‘Blood Blockade Battlefront’ or ‘B3’. ‘B3’ takes place in a world where the inhabitants of our world and those that lurk in the darkness of the underworld are forced to live together in some form of harmony due to a devastating event that took place before the start of the series. With supernatural elements and a cast of quirky fighters, it’s hard to …
