Criminal Girls: Invite Only and The Awakened Fate Ultimatum Coming To The West In 2015

  It’s the most wonderful time of the year. I’m walking about the Anime Expo weekend…not Christmas. Andy Williams had you all fooled. A huge part of the convention’s festivities are it’s panels and with those panels comes some awesome announcements regarding video games, Anime, Manga, whatever! It’s all there! At NIS America’s panel this year, the American publisher revealed that they will be bringing both ‘Criminal Girls: Invite Only’ and ‘The Awakened Fate Ultimatum’ to North America and Europe sometime next year! No specific date was revealed. ‘Criminal Girls: Invite Only’ will be getting a release on the PlayStation Vita whereas ‘The Awakened Fate Ultimatum’ will find it’s home on the PlayStation 3. Both of these title were only ever released over in Japan but, come 2015, that is all going to change. ‘Criminal Girls: Invite Only’ is a quite a special release. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga News From Anime Expo 2014 [UPDATE]

“Oh my God!”, Anime Expo 2014 is on right now over in Los Angeles and straight from the Viz Media panel comes news that will surely have JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans all across the West screaming “happy scrappy”! The American publisher has just announced that it has acquired the rights to publish the second part of the ‘JJBA’ Manga series, ‘Battle Tendency’, throughout North America which means, in turn, the Manga will eventually make it’s way down here to Australia. Oh yeah! It wasn’t too long ago that Viz acquired the rights to redistribute the ‘Stardust Crusaders’ Manga but they’ve rounded out their collection now that the first three parts of the long-running Shonen series’ licenses have been acquired and they’re all ready to make their way into the households of American readers. ‘Phantom Blood’ will hit local book store shelves in omnibus edition with it being released in three volumes. Akira Amemiya Announced As Director Of Upcoming ‘Ninja Slayer’ Anime – UPDATE: New Trailer Released

There’s nothing more awesome than a twisted Ninja story, apart from maybe a twisted Ninja story directed by Kill La Kill’s very own Akira Amemiya! It’s Anime Expo time and from the Studio Trigger panel comes some very exciting news regarding their upcoming Anime adaptation of the highly popular novel “Ninja Slayer”. If you loved the over-the-top action of ‘Kill La Kill’ and you enjoy yourself some Shinobi-centric slaughter, then it looks like ‘Ninja Slayer’ is just the Anime for you. Alongside announcing it’s director, the panel also reveled two new posters for the upcoming Anime season both of which were illustrated by Takashi Okazaki who you may know is the Mangaka behind the series ‘Afro Samurai’. there are plans to release the very first teaser trailer for the series at Anime Expo but, at this point in time, it has not been shown so you’ll just have to stick around for when it is. Bandai Namco Games Unveil Their Setup For Anime Expo 2014

North American readers, this one is going out to you so pay attention and take notes. This WILL be on the test. Anime Expo is coming up soon, it’s actually only about a week away which means exhibitors will be finalizing their showcase plans and starting setup preparations for the big convention. Bandai Namco Games are ahead of the pack this year, already releasing a whole bunch of information regarding their booth and what they’ve got in store for the big weekend. Head down to the booth as soon as you can once you get there because there will be plenty of things to do include playing a bunch of their more recent/upcoming titles. The booth’s playable demos include: Dynasty Warrriors: Gundam Reborn, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, One Piece: Unlimited World Red, Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, Tales of Hearts R and Tales of Xillia 2. But that’s not all the Bandai Namco has to offer!
