Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition Confirmed

An edition in a class of its own

If you’re the type of person who loves videogame special editions, then has Square Enix got some good news for you…provided you’re also the type of person who loves Final Fantasy…and lives in Australia. Set for release 19th March 2015, the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition will be available in limited quantities at EB Games.

Said edition will be presented in a bespoke presentation box and sleeve, with the game itself residing within a Golden SteelBook that features artwork created by Yoshitaka Amano. The edition will also include a 200 page manga that explores the origins of Class Zero, and a Composer’s Selection Soundtrack CD that features 15 track chosen by Takeharu Ishimoto (the composer whose selections make the CD’s title true). An 80 page hardcover artbook entitled Class Zero 842 will also be included, depicting the characters and world of Orience through a number of renders and concept art. Finally, five life-size replicas of Ace’s playing cards round out the collection (Note: Life-size card replicas do not imbue magic powers into wielder)

A less intensive Limited Edition will also be made available in EB Games via pre-order, featuring the Steelbook case, reversible box design and cutaway sleeve. Though both versions will include a downloadable demo entitled Final Fantasy XV -Episode Duscae- that will allow player to, you guessed it, net an early look at the long anticipated fifteenth instalment in the FF franchise. How exciting is that?
