Takayama Travelogue featuring the Sunset of a Lifetime

After a a trip of on the Bullet Train and a stop over at Nagoya, we finally arrive in the quaint mountain town of Takayama. We decide to explore this gorgeous town as the sunsets and wander about in the twilight of the night. Tokyo Tower, Asakusa, Mt Fuji, Mt Hakone and LAWSON Travelogue

Featured in dozens of anime, manga and Japanese films, Tokyo Tower is globally renowned as a spirit of Japan’s ingenuity, Luke and Suz hit up the tower for a sublime panoramic view of Tokyo. Next up is Asakusa which is a popular tourist destination in Tokyo and it is generally on every tour brochure you’ll ever see of Japan, so we took to the streets to find out what makes Asakusa so special. Ikebukuro, Pokemon Center, J-World Tokyo and Shibuya Travelogue

Having watched the anime series Durarara!! it was a given that I’d want to see how the real world Ikebukuro stacks up to its anime counterpart. To our pleasant surprise Ikebukuro is also home to Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo and a Shonen Jump theme park by the name of J-WORLD TOKYO. We wrapped up the day with a visit to Shibuya to check out the Hachiko statue and the scramble crossing.
