JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part Four: Diamond Is Unbreakable Anime Green-Lit

We all knew this was coming, because it was teased at the very end of the Stardust Crusaders Anime season, but it still gives a nice warm feeling just knowing that Part Four of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga series, Diamond Is Unbreakable, is confirmed for an Anime adaptation sometime in the near future. Over in Japan, Tokyo to be specific, on the Saturday that has just passed, an event was held titled “The Last Crusaders” which, as you may think, had nothing to do with the Indiana Jones movie of similar name. No, it was a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure event that basically celebrated all things Stardust Crusaders.

While many exciting things happened over the span of the event’s full day, the most exciting is absolutely that of the Diamond Is Unbreakable Anime adaptation confirmation which was delivered to the audience, and now us living everywhere BUT Japan, with a teaser trailer that shows absolutely nothing of the upcoming Anime but has worked to excited people from all walks of life living all across the world. Well…no, it’s pretty much just gotten all JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Fans insanely stimulated while the rest of the known world goes about their day as if literally nothing has happened at all, but I think you understand what I’m getting at. It wouldn’t be JJBA news if I didn’t pepper in the exaggeration now, would it?

The story of Diamond Is Unbreakable is fairly simple, but has layers and layers of deep, thoughtful story points and crazy characters who only work to question why it is that this series is so damn successful, so basically…it’s your average JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure tale. Following a new JoJo, Josuke Higashikata, Diamond Is Unbreakable has us go on a wild ride as he and his delinquent friends try to catch a serial killer who’s using a mysterious and dangerous Stand to get away with, ugh…murder. Featuring classic characters who we’ve come to love like Old Man Joseph, who’s now drastically older, and Jotaro Kujo.

Teasing us even more, the trailer detailed absolutely nothing in regards to when we can expect this Anime to air. Isn’t that simply aggravating? Chances are, we wont be seeing it for quite some time seeing as this video is simply telling us that the Anime has been green-lit and not that it is currently in production, so I’d urge you not to get your hopes up for a near future release. The team behind the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime adaptation is good, but they’ll make us work for it. That’s for sure. Fact is; Diamond Is Unbreakable Anime has been green-lit, take that information and enjoy it to the best of your ability.
