JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes Of Heaven – Dio Brando Character Battle Trailer Released

I’ve done about seven of these articles at the time of writing this one. I try my hardest to put a little bit of character specific flair into each and every one by referencing their personality types, battle tactics, etc., but with Dio Brando…all I can do is make the same jokes everyone else has already made. You know the whole “it was I, Dio” thing, yeah, it’s kind of gotten old, and yet here I am fighting with myself because, well…damn, I want to make some of those jokes too, so here I go: [Insert Dio Meme Here]

Bandai Namco Entertainment are doing this interesting thing wherein which they’re periodically releasing character-specific trailers in the lead-up to their upcoming action title JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes Of Heaven. So far we’ve seen about seven of them, of which I’ll make sure to specify in the latter sections of this article, and we’re only going to be seeing more and more, considering there are over fifty playable characters, and I’m fairly certain they want to get through each and every one of them.

Today’s trailer, incase you couldn’t already tell, focuses on Dio Brando; the original antagonist of the series who continues to serve as a plague on the Joestar bloodline long after he was killed by Stardust Crusaders protagonist Jotaro Kujo. This Dio is not DIO. Can you spot the difference? The Dio Brando Bandai Namco are showcasing in this here trailer is not the Dio Brando with his very own Stand, no this is the Dio Brando whom Jonathan Joestar fought in the early stages of this lengthy series.

Maybe he’s not as formidable as himself from the future, but this Dio Brando can still throw down with the best of them, which I’m sure you’re about to see, assuming you are indeed reading this before heading straight down to the video. For the sake of keeping up to date before moving on, though, here’s the list of all the character trailers we’ve seen so far: Jonathan Joestar, Robert E.O. Speedwagon, Jotaro Kujo, Okuyasu NijimuraBruno Buccellati, and Joseph Joestar. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes Of Heaven is set for a release across Japan on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on the 17th of December this year.
