Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair – Now Available Across Australia and New Zealand

Awww yiss! It is finally here, people! Get ready to be sent into a world filled only with death and sadness, but one that you’ll have a good time trying to survive in. NIS America are extremely proud to announce that their beloved video game sequel ‘Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair’ has finally been made available through the Australian/New Zealand PlayStation Network for all wannabee detectives to finally sink their teeth into.

The rest of the world has already gotten their copies of the game and now it’s time for us to prove just have good we are at solving murders. For those of you who aren’t aware, I’ll give you a little hint; we’re very, very good at solving murders…VERY good. Unfortunately the only way we’ll be able to get this game is digitally seeing as it will not be released down here physically. That’s fine though because with a file size that’s just over 1500mb, there wont be one of you who’ll miss out due to a ‘lack of space’. Why are you still reading this? You should be downloading the game right now! Go! Quickly! Before the homicidal rabbit gets us!

Blue skies, white clouds, a glittering ocean, and a vast beach…
Hope’s Peak Academy is holding its school trip at Jabberwock Island—a tropical island famous for being a popular vacation resort. But thanks to the actions of their wicked headmaster, the students quickly realize that they are not leaving this island any time soon. Their only chance of escape is to murder one of their classmates, and survive the class trial without getting caught. During the frantic, high-stakes class trial, you must use the evidence you gathered during your investigation, as well your classmates’ testimonies, to literally shoot down your opponent’s arguments. Amid the heightened suspicion, encroaching madness, and emotional exhaustion, the next evolution of the class trial is about to begin.

Jabberwock Island – once a popular tourist destination, this now uninhabited island remains oddly pristine. You and your classmates at the elite Hope’s Peak Academy have been brought to this island by your super-cute teacher for a “lovey-dovey, heart-throbbing school trip.” Everyone seems to be having fun in the sun…until Monokuma returns to restart his murderous game! Trapped on this island of mutual killing, your only hope of escape rests in solving the island’s mysteries. But be warned—sometimes the truth can be its own despair… – NIS America

  1. I played it recently and loved it. Glad to hear that players down under can enjoy it too. I don’t mind digital downloads as it gives fans of niche games the opportunity to play titles that wouldn’t normally get a retail release.
